Unbroken (New York: Random House, 2010)
This is the almost unbelievable account of the life Louis Zamperini. He was among other things an Olympic athlete and prisoner of war in World War II. From how running channeled his energy and determination, how his imprisonment broke his body and how God healed his soul, Louis persevered though immense challenges emotionally, physically and spiritually. His life is inspiring in the best sense.
