For the past week or so I have been in the process of combining my Tumblr blog and my venerable WordPress.com blog into a new self hosted WordPress installation.
As a result, many of my posts and links have erratic formating as well as some dead images and links. This comes from the differences in architecture between tumblr and WP.com and the fact that my blog has traveled from several different platforms (including Xanga, LiveJournal, and MoveableType). The cleanup process is about 20% done, thus any older posts you may check out may look hideous. I hope to have this finished by the end of next week.
After researching my options I went with a new hosting account at DreamHost and choose the Standard Theme from John Saddington & co. Its impressive and maybe even more than I need right now.
In the coming days, once the cleaning is done and the polishing begins I hope to dive into writing again.
Thanks for reading this and dropping by.

On the closing verses of the Sermon on the Mount:
“The sermon ends with what has been implicit throughout it—the demand for radical submission to the exclusive lordship of Jesus, who fulfills the Law and the Prophets and warns the disobedient that the alternative to total obedience, true righteousness, and life in the kingdom is rebellion, self-centeredness, and eternal damnation.”
