Good Friday is a day of remembrance, when as Christians we solemnly remember the death of our Savior Jesus on a Roman cross to pay the penalty for our sin. It is a reminder of what you did to God. This was done prior to his resurrection, conquering, Satan, sin and death; which we celebrate on Easter, see what what God did for you.
“No one takes my life from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”
– Jesus Christ (John 10:18)
