Here is a story about one of our little adventures while in Tomohon.
The second Friday we were in Tomohon all of us took a short walk down the street to the neighborhood Kindergarten school. It was incredibly fun. All the little faces running around, wide eyed at seeing so many westerners at once, and in their school.
We joined two of the classes for part of the morning, singing with them, playing games with them. We could not stay for long, but we had a lot of fun while we were there. 
Many of the children’s songs sung in America have Indonesian equivalents and it was entertaining to see the kids try to learn ours…and try to teach us their versions.
Like all children, they love games…the crazier the better. One of the team led one class in a giant game of Duck, Duck, Goose…along with a game that is basically making giant and tiny circles together as fast as you can.
It was a great time for the children and for us, and another place it was hard to walk away from when it was time to go.
