I’ve chosen to focus on three words this year to shape my goals and activities in the coming year.
Focus.
Sacrifice.
Investment.
What do I mean?
Focus.
I need to center myself on those people and activities that are core to who I am and what God has purposes for myself and my family.
Sacrifice.
I need to lay aside habits, possessions, pastimes and commitments that serve to distract me from the most important roles, actions and relationships.
Investment.
I need to pour into the lives of my family and friends and acquaintances as well as furthering my own development spiritually, personally and professionally.
Those are my three words for this year. They will drive my goals and commitments for this year and characterize my priorities in the days to come.
